An important meeting was held on the development of industrial and technological parks.
Dornogovi aimag Governor T. Batjargal met with the Ministry of Industry and Trade representatives, the Mongolian Industrial Policy Department, S. Sukhbat, the Mongolian Industrial Technology Parks Association, and the Republic of Korea Small and Medium Business Policy Institute.
During the meeting, a detailed presentation was made on the regional development policies and directions, and views were exchanged on the opportunities for cooperation between the two countries and new avenues for development. In-depth discussions were also held on the activities of the two Industrial and Technology Parks implemented within the public-private partnership framework, the progress of policy implementation, emerging issues, and future trends.
During this visit, the Minister of Industry and Technology inspected the ongoing construction and investment process at the Altanshireet Industrial and Technology Park, and the construction is expected to have a significant impact on the sustainable economic development of the region.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that it would be best to ensure full participation of the public and private sectors, direct the policies and activities of the NTPs towards a single goal, and resolve pressing issues through collective solutions.
