The Standing Committee on Economics of the State Great Khural organized a discussion on the topic of "Development Strategy and Opportunities for Industrial and Technological Parks" today /2025.05.06/ in the "Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan" Hall of the State Palace.
The discussion was attended by R. Seddorj, Member of the State Great Khural, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economics, L. Soronzonbold, O. Batnairamdal, R. Batbold, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Ts.Tuvaan, senior officials of relevant ministries and agencies, representatives of “Erdenes Industrial Technology Park” LLC, “Erdenet Industrial” State-owned Enterprise, and scientists and researchers in the field.
In his opening remarks, Standing Committee Chairman R. Seddorj said that technical and technological issues are an integral part of the strategic solution for the development of the Industrial Technology Park. There are many examples of us importing many outdated, obsolete and environmentally unsound technologies in the name of accelerating development. This has many negative consequences, including increasing the risk of public and private sector investments, burdening the economy, increasing unplanned costs, and significantly reducing. He also emphasized that the industrial technology park is a key driver of the country's development strategy, and that this discussion is being organized to support future policies with real information and optimal solutions.
